- Counting the points during the recruitment procedure, with reference to the candidates who have passed the secondary final exam (new "matura"), on the basis of the marks obtained at the basic and advanced level for the written and spoken part, takes place using the algorithm of one third of the sum: the mark obtained at the basic level and the mark obtained at the advanced level multiplied by two.
- The final result of the recruitment procedure is calculated on the basis of the secondary school final exam results or the maturity exam results for three subjects of various importance, according to the following rules:
- Firstly, the exam results in the following subjects are taken into consideration:

- Chemistry and Biology (for the candidates for the Horticulture, Cosmetology, Dietetics, Rural Areas Management studies), or

The weight of the exam results in the above subjects is 1; the first foreign language is the one for which the candidate taking exams in two languages has received a better mark.
- Secondly, the exam results of the following subjects in the following order are taken into consideration:
- Geography, History and Social Studies (for the candidates for the Economics, Finance and Accounting studies), or

- Entrepreneurship Basics, Physics and Astronomy (or Physics), Chemistry, the second foreign language and the remaining subjects (for the candidates for the Computer Science studies).
The weight of the exam results in these subjects is 0,6; the second foreign language is the one for which the candidate taking exams in two languages has received a weaker mark.
- The marks for individual subjects taken into consideration in the recruitment procedure are converted into points according to the following scheme:
- the exam result percentage is converted into points if the candidate has passed the secondary school final exam (new “matura”); e.g. the result of 36.27% means 36.27 points for the recruitment purposes
- the marks are converted into points if the candidate has passed the “maturity” exam (old “matura”) in the following way: mark 2 into 10 points, mark 3 into 30 points, mark 4 into 50 points, mark 5 into 70 points, mark 6 into 90 points.
