GENERAL COURSE DESCRIPTION
With the practical profile of the programme, management students acquire basic theoretical knowledge of economics and management sciences as well as of other related disciplines such as law, psychology or sociology. During the studies they gain practical skills necessary for functioning in an organisation, irrespective of its size and the kind of activity it performs. Students are prepared to apply modern management methods, quantitative tools and information technologies in specific occupations and on different levels of the management process.

FUNCTIONING AND FINANCING OF ENTERPRISES
Choosing this module, students develop detailed competencies in the area of functioning and financing of enterprises. The curriculum involves such academic content as: sources of financing business operations, business taxation, internal auditing, selected elements of accounting and financial reporting. Other issues discussed during the course entail costing, enterprise transformation and the use of optimisation measures in the running of a business.
Acquired competencies will allow graduates to find attractive employment, not only in enterprises but also in financial institutions dealing with financing business operations or in local and regional government bodies and units. Last but not least, they can pursue a career in financial and tax consulting companies.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates who have completed the module FUNCTIONING AND FINANCING OF ENTERPRISES will have the opportunity to take up employment in production or service providing companies, government and self-government administration institutions, accounting and tax offices. They are also qualified to run their own business activity.

TFL SERVICES MANAGEMENT
Graduates completing this module become specialists in goods trading and freight management. The knowledge acquired during the programme can be applied in workplaces ranging from business or transport enterprises to forwarding companies or warehouses. On completing the studies, students are familiar with the concept of logistics and its methods. They are able to characterise different logistics processes taking place in organisations as well as pinpoint the links between them within a national and international dimension. Graduates know about infrastructure, transport and forwarding systems and services. They are familiar with structures and solutions applied in logistics. Students also develop skills necessary for diagnosing, analysing and assessing logistics systems and processes. They can apply standards and norms in order to organise logistics processes. Last but not least, they are able to think and act in an entrepreneurial manner while observing the rules and using methods relevant to the TFL sector.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
There are numerous job offers in the field of TFL. Possible positions involve: sales and marketing specialist; merchant; procurement, transport and warehouse logistics specialist; sales representative, road transport organiser; transport organisation and development specialist.
